Spooky Inspiration White

Here is a little something for you.
My Crows Nest Lamp.
An idea you can put together for the October season.
Not much into some of the celebrating, but love crows,
so base my vignettes around them.
Click on photo, then click again, to waaay enlarge,
and see details.
Let me know if you have any questions.
(and be sure to come back and see the new 'crowations' coming soon.)

Here is anew little tea set.
Pot is about 4" tall.
Hand made I think.
It is an 8 piece place setting!
Never seen one with sooo many tea cups and little saucers.
So 30 pieces all together!!
That is one big tea party.

Charley Weaver

This is not my regular type of store merchandise,
but some friends who were collector's brought him in to try to sell.

He really has a pretty cool old face....
and certainly the name is familiar to many of us.

We are not really into bartending in the store.
But if we were he would fit right in.
(can you believe this was $85 in the 'books'?

Have a great Rednesday everyone,
and many thanks to our sweet hostess at
It's so very cherry!!

Blue and Yellow Thrifty Monday

Look at this cabinet my daughter got for me.
You should here her tell the story of getting it into her van.
A little push on one side,
run around the van, a little pull on the other.
Over and over till she got it in there.
Or almost.
The door would not quite shut,
so she drove home holding the door so the cabinet would not fall out!

Price of the cabinet: unknown.
Story: Priceless

Oldish looking mustard yellow, and blue house.
Handmade, but not by me. Cute huh?
And my thrifty find for today's post.

And look at this antique blue crib.

Oh I so wanted this one.
But even at the "low" price of $50,
and the fact that I did not have room in the store for it..

It rolled home with someone else.

Blessings to you all.

Oh, sorry I have been AWOL for a few days.
Had a huge garage sale and it has kept me hopping
a few more days and it will be cleaned up.
Then on to other things.

Crow pumpkins!! =)

A Hoarderific Sale

Still looking for that special something for the yard, deck
or home.
We found where it has been hiding.
My sister is in recovery now but
needs to sell some of this stuff she has been hording.
I am not sure if having a garage sale is good
for a garage sale-a-holic, but it can't hurt to get
rid of some of this stuff.
Honestly she is quite normal, but
would like to sell some of these treasures.

90034 Prairie Rd. Aug. 26th -
28th, 9 to 6 pm.

My brother wrote this.

It is so cute, and I'm afraid the hoarder part may be a little true.
But hey! I'm having the sale aren't I?

Blessings to all Barbara Jean

Wonderful Wednesday Whites & Whims

Beautiful Hand Crocheted Gloves
Aren't they lovely?
New shabby wicker garden plant chair, kid size it!

This is part of a hand crafted tea set.
An 8 place setting.
Yes! 8 each, plates, saucers, cups,
and a tea pot and sugar and creamer.
The tea pot is about 4" high.
And it is all perfect!!
I'm jumping with joy over this one. =)

And, sweet and simple, a crock, with spigot.
Clean as a whistle inside.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What have I been working on?
What am I braggin about??
What did we do outsi
I'm going through all my stash, and having a sale.
In two days!!!
We brought pile after pile out of the garage.
Stuff all over the parking lot.
My friend Marilyn helped.....
And my Mom....
And here is my Dad.
He helped to,but all that dustin' in the hot sun
wore him out.
So, he sat in the front window of the store,
and watched all of us.
More pics of the sale soon.
Thanks for coming by
How is this for a tea time idea?
Sweet little hankies for napkins....
Finished off with vintage pins as a surprise.
PS Can you believe it is time to set
up for Fall, and Halloween?
One of the 'drawbacks' of retail,
is having to do everything a season ahead.
I'm still enjoying summer decor!
I'm showing my tea cups to all my Mellow Yellow Friends
Pleas go visit for more sunshine.
